About me

I am from the Coast Salish Territories and a member of the Squamish Nation located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Peoples.

As a young boy who grew up in East Vancouver, I always had big dreams. Sports were a huge part of my life lacrosse, hockey, and football. I represented Canada at the age of 17 in field lacrosse and played on championship teams with the Coquitlam Jr. Adanacs.

In 1995 I met the love of my life, and about a year later we had a spiritual experience that led us to the world of fashion. Together we built the House of Nyla. We imported the fashion into a virtual world called Secondlife which garnered press from around the world. During this time I dreamed of creating a Native Art streetwear line and in 2022 we decided it was time to bring my dream to life.

Salish Grant Native Art streetwear is about my love of sports, Pop Art, Hip Hop, and mixing it together with Native Art. Our T-shirts, Sweatshirts, and Hoodies are DTG prints our items are made to order and shipped from Canada and the USA to all over the world. We hope you love them as much as we do.
